This is not the only website that contains a special section dedicated to the Italian cooking and it won’t be surely the last: our regions recipes, such as pasta and pizza, are well known all over the world. Everybody talks and writes about this topic. What we offer you is not a complete collection of Italian recipes: it is very difficult to group together in an unique site an incredible variety of dishes, everyone of them with its own history.

This is a gastronomic travel through the Mediterranean area, across the Italian boot-shaped peninsula that starts from the Alps and arrives near to Africa.It is a travel through the various villages, streets, restaurants, eating houses and kitchens and its final aim is to discover all the flavours of the Italian traditional gastronomy.

And as every travel, also ours has its beginning but not its end: the smells and flavours mixed with the local idioms, with grandmothers secrets and stories, will arrive at evoking new suggestions destined to be multiplied and handed down from generations to generation.It is a travel in the variegated world of regional recipes; of typical products and of local wines, following fancy and traditions lead, crossing a territory where the past is still present.
