The Sorrento Music Meetings turn for their 37th year with 12 scheduled concerts that will take place from the 21th of August to the 13th September in the XIV century cloister of San Francesco placed in Sorrento. Also this year an interesting calendar mixes international celebrities and new young talents. One of the partners of this event will be the Naples conservatory called San Pietro a Majella in order to improve some young musicians who study in this important school. Many players will have the chance to perform in such a prestigious event that will be characterized by the presence of national and international artists who will play both local and world classics. Thanks to all this elements, the Sorrento Music Meetings represent one of the most important cultural and artistic events in Campania. On the 15th of September there will be the last concert dedicated to Edith Piaf. The main aim of this event, in fact, is to widen the borders of the classic music.

- September 07 2009: Cloister of San Francesco, h. 21:00 P.M. Leandro Nicolella, saxophone, Luca Iacono, pianoforte. Music by Singelée, Milhaud, Creston, Gotkovsky.
- September 08 2009: Church of San Francesco, h. 21:00 P.M. Vincenzo De Gregorio, organ. Music by Mendelssohn, Liszt, Bossi, Capocci.
- September 10 2009: Cloister of San Francesco, h. 21:00 P.M. Ramin Bahrami, pianoforte. Music by Bach.
- September 13 2009: Cloister of San Francesco, h. 21:00 P.M. Broz Trio: Barbara Broz, violin; Giada Broz, viola; – Klaus Broz, cello. Music by Bach.
- September 14 2009: Cloister of San Francesco, h. 21:00 P.M. Sara D’Allocco and Gennaro Musella Piano Duet. Music by Mozart, Schubert, Burgmein and Brahms.
