This feast occurs on the Sunday after the 8th of September. This is a very ancient celebration because very probably in the past Capri people used to invoke the Holy Mary to save their imprisoned relatives. The Holy Mary statue is in the namesake church placed in the seafaring village of Marina Grande where the feast takes place: urban streets are ornamented with coloured lights and during the afternoon you can watch the procession. During the night there usually is a concert followed by a fireworks show.
