Even if San Costanzo is the Saint Patron of the whole island, from 1718 the Anacapri inhabitants used to invoke the protection of Sant’Antonio from Padova celebrating him every year on the 13th of June.
A week before the celebration day the Church of Santa Sofia and the houses balconies in the Anacapri historical centre are ornamented with coloured lights, drapes and flowers.

In all the streets surrounding the church there are sweets, toys and kitchen utensils stands. The most important moment of the feast is the procession that occurs during the afternoon involving all the population in a real folkloristic atmosphere. At nigh there always is a concert in Diaz Square.
