The feast dedicated to San Costanzo, the Saint Patron of Capri, occurs every year on the 14th of May in Capri and in Marina Grande, a small seafaring village closed to Capri.
This feast is an interesting representation of the local culture mixing together symbols connected both to the sea and to the land.
The day before the celebration the San Costanzo statue is shown in the Santo Stefano cathedral and on the 14th of May it is transported into the Church of Marina Grande through a long procession.
