This XIV century palace is characterized by an elegant and refined façade ornamented by beautiful windows with ogival arches.

The Chiaramonte- Steri Palace
At the first floor of this construction there is the Sala Magna where you can admire a beautiful wooden ceiling considered a veritable “medieval encyclopaedia”: it is made up by 32 biblical, mythological and knightly stories painted in tempera.

In one of this palace rooms there is the “Vuccirìa” by Renato Guttuso.

Today this building is the seat of the Palermo University Chancellor’s Office and just few of its rooms can be visited by tourists.
