This palace is also known as Royal Palace and it was built during the IX century by the Arabs. It was successively transformed in an opulent royal residence by the Normans. Here you can admire its wonderful internal courtyard, its imposing marble staircase, its towers and the big royal room. Today it is the seat of the Sicilian Region’s Offices.

You can visit the Normans Palace from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00 A.M. and from 14:00 to 17:00 P.M. On Sunday and during public holidays from 8:30 to 12:30 A.M. The ticket costs €6.00 or €3.00 if reduced.
Visiting this monumental palace you can also see the magnificent Palatina Chapel.
